after spending many long days in showrooms and stores, only to find myself lusting after expensive threads, jewelry, shoes, and bags i came to a conclusion. $$$ is not the only way to go in this town. you can look just as chic and pay a fraction of the price. i have seen many blogs and articles dedicated to comparing which outfit cost more, but until you experience this for yourself, it doesn’t quite hit home the same way.
yesterday while i was out pulling clothes in numerous high end stores, i was stopped and complimented on my clothes in bloomies. what was i wearing? a super old t-shirt dress from target, a tiny denim jacket from the children’s section at old navy and beaten up dv boots. while my ensemble certainly didn’t look expensive, i still looked just as stylish as the next gal.
after years of blogging my experiences and inspirations, i am changing gears a little. i am going to start documenting more of my wardrobe. a little of “what worked” “what didn’t” and “what definitely worked!”
i think i just fell in love with these boots
